About the event

Learn more about cured meats, cheese, and wine!

This workshop will be led by Chef Peter Keith from Meuwly's and a representative from Lakeside Dairy. They will share some stories and fun anecdotes about Alberta's food scene, cured meats, and cheeses, while walking you through four wine pairings (4x2oz). You'll also learn Peter's approach (and some tips and tricks) to creating your own delicious, accessible charcuterie and wine pairings at home!

This is an 18+ event.

About Meuwly's: Meuwly’s was created with the belief that a strong, vibrant community is built around the food we share together. Glendon Tan, Will Kotowicz, and Peter Keith proudly opened Meuwly's Artisan Food Market on 124th st., Edmonton in the summer of 2018. Since then, Meuwly's has become known as Edmonton’s go-to destination for all things charcuterie. Their house-made charcuterie and sausages, cheeses, pickles, and condiments can be found at restaurants, cafes, hotels, and retailers around the province.

About Lakeside Farmstead: Lakeside Farmstead Cheese is locally crafted in Sturgeon County, Alberta using their very own single-source milk. Each day they put care and pride into every step of their farming processes to make sure they end up with the highest quality products in the end. They are excited to offer quality products produced sustainably at the farm. Food that Lakestead Dairy is proud to serve on their table and yours.
